Need a moisturizing boost? In this tutorial you'll learn how to make your own moisturizing face mask treatment with fresh banana, avocado and aloe juice. This mask is packed with nourishing vitamins and minerals and is great for dry or sensitive skin. Let's get started!
Supplies

- 1/2 fresh ripe avocado
- 1/2 fresh ripe banana
- 3 tablespoons kaolin clay
- 2 tablespoons aloe juice
- 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
- 3-5 drops lavender essential oil (optional)
- Food processor or blender
- Mixing spoons
- 4-6 oz container
1. Blend Wet Ingredients
Step 1
Scoop out half of an avocado and place in blender.
Avocados are rich in vitamins A and E, potassium and unsaturated fats.

Step 2
Add fresh cut bananas to the blender.
Bananas are also rich in potassium and vitamin A.

Step 3
Add aloe juice and sweet almond oil to the blender.
Adding additional wet ingredients to a fresh face mask will help give it a smooth texture.
Aloe juice is a humectant that helps to attract moisture to your skin and hydrate it. Sweet almond oil is a versatile medium-weight carrier oil with great moisturizing properties but you can use any carrier oil you have on hand.

Step 4
Use a spoon to push everything down into the blender grates.

Step 5
Blend the fresh ingredients until pureed and mixed well.

Step 6
Use a spoon to scrape the edges to make sure all chunks are blended well, then blend again until you have a smooth consistency.

Step 7
Add the lavender essential oil.
This step is optional, but it you want to add essential oils to this mask, lavender is an excellent choice and known for its versatile skin care benefits. Lavender is also very calming.

3. Add the Dry Ingredients
Step 1
Spoon at least three tablespoons of fresh ingredients into a small bowl.

Step 2
Add the kaolin clay one tablespoon at a time. Mix until well combined.
Kaolin is a perfect clay for a moisture mask. It's very mild, making it great for sensitive skin as it doesn't tighten on your skin or draw out oils like other cosmetic clays.

Step 3
Once combined, apply to face and relax.
