Finding the perfect pendant necklace can be a challenge. The right length with the right amount of bling is hard to find! The answer? Make your own! Using rough cut crystals creates an on-trend statement piece that doesn't cost a fortune. It's the perfect blend of natural elements and glamour.
- Top drilled rough cut crystals
- 1 gold eye pin
- 2 small gold beads
- 1 gold jump ring
- Gold chain
- Wire cutter
- Round nose jewelry pliers
1. Make the Pendant
Start by adding one gold bead to the head pin.
Then add five pieces of crystal, varying the sizes and also the direction the crystal are pointing.
Add another gold bead.
Cut any excess length of the headpin with wire cutters. Then bend the end into a loop with the round nose pliers. Making the loop will also tighten the crystals together so make sure they are placed in their final positions and you're happy with the design.
2. Attach the Chain
Measure how long you want the necklace to hang and cut a length of chain.
Open the jump ring with the pliers and loop it through the top of the crystal pendant. Attach each end of the chain and close the jump ring.
Wear Your Crystal Pendant Necklace
And you're done! Wasn't that easy? Pendants are such versatile pieces that they easily transition from summer t-shirts to fall button downs and sweaters.
